This sub-series is a meditation on the nearness of Christ and the transformative power of His love. Each painting captures a moment of divine relationship—Christ rejoicing with us, holding us, and weeping with us. Rather than focusing on traditional symbolism, these works center on the intimacy of His presence: His face close to ours, His arms around the vulnerable, His joy effulgent, His compassion boundless.
Across the collection, light becomes an expression of divinity, illuminating the dignity within every soul—whether joyful, wounded, childlike, or broken open. Together, these paintings tell a unified story: we are seen, we are celebrated, we are held. And in His embrace, darkness turns toward healing, and sorrow becomes a place where heaven draws near.
